Focused Technology Solutions Release DrillEase Battery-Operated Tie Drill

The company’s newest battery-operated product is making the tie drilling process safer and more efficient than ever.

Hackettstown, NJ, — Focused Technology Solutions —a Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway Company— has released their latest disruptive technology to the rail market; the DrillEase battery-operated tie drill. 

The DrillEase operates using a standard off-the-shelf 1” high torque impact driver which fits FTS’ battery powered, eco-friendly platform. This revolutionary tool has been designed to “improve production by 50%,” company officials say.

On top of the tool’s efficiency, the elimination of hydraulics tools, hoses and generators allow for a rail worker to use it straight out of the box. The tool is portable, weighs under 30 lbs and drills holes in just 3-5 seconds.
